- What is the reason you wanted to do internship at Guidable?
The reasons that lead me to choose Guidable as my internship company are: First, Guidable is a Japanese-based company. Being an international student who is looking for a chance later to work in Japan, I feel it very important to gain some experience in Japanese working environment. Secondly, Guidable is a start-up company – a very hot trend these days in business model. Working for a start-up company will give me the opportunity to do variable tasks and gives out creative ideas.
- What kind of job did you experience?
In Guidable, I was assigned to work for Guidable Japan – the company website with articles helping foreigners living in Japan. My main goal was to learn, do research and write articles that can provide useful information (such as cultures, rules, lifestyle..etc) for readers around the world. I also get to translate and help in expanding the website into my mother tongue language – which is Vietnamese. The job was fun because as I’m doing the job, I’m also learning more about Japan.
- What did you get through this internship? Or how did you change?
Throughout the internship, I learned how to manage my time at work to achieve the daily working goal. I also learn about confidence in communication and giving out ideas. As I was working with a lot of young and talented colleagues, I feel motivated and want to work even harder.
- After this internship, what are you interested in now and what do you want to achieve?
After this internship, I can say that I have grown my interest in start-up company and I hope I will be able to create my own start-up company later. And also, thanks to the time working here, I can see how much more do I need to improve in my communication and Japanese skill.
- Please give some advice to the other international people who will do internship in Japan.
I think confidence is a very important factor. Don’t worry if your Japanese is not so good, just be yourself, take your time to express what you have in mind. Internship is a place for you to train and prepare yourself for the later future.

Guidable is a great place to work with. The working environment is English friendly and very open, just ask for help at anytime that you need. The members are all young, talented and very energetic. You’re gonna have so much fun while working here.
